While I was in the south of France last week on a girls holiday it was my friend Alice's 22nd birthday. Rather than buying a birthday cake we thought it would be nice to bake her something different as a surprise. One of my friends had seen this recipe recommended on The Londoner's blog so we gave it a go...Verdict: Completely addictive!
These chocolately squares of goodness are made up of a base layer of cookie dough, topped in a layer of oreos, covered in a layer of brownie mix. Baked slowly in the oven they all merge together into one chewy, gooey slice of heaven!
Easy to make and even easier to eat, these brownies made the perfect birthday indulgence!
